The coastal areas foster Mediterranean climates, producing well-balanced reds and whites. The center of Spain is extreme, with incredible hot summers, followed by intensely cold...

Navarra

Navarra is one of the northernmost wine regions in Spain whose principal tourist attraction is the annual running of the bulls in Pamplona. The area is also featured in two of Hemingway's novels, The Sun Also Rises and For Whom the Bell Tolls. Rioja

Rioja is the most renowned red wine region in Spain. Its history blends uniquely Spanish varietals, like the great Tempranillo, with a tradition brought from Bordeaux: extended barrel aging. This combination allows the region to produce a range of wines from lively, simple reds to some of the best wines of the world, capable of being cellared for 30 years or more.
